The development team's journey began at a Chinese mobile game company where they grew weary of creating generic titles solely aimed at replicating popular games for profit. Driven by a passion for creating meaningful gaming experiences, they embarked on creating their own game during their nights and weekends. After learning from an initial failed attempt, the team persevered and spent nine months developing Legion War, a game they truly enjoy playing.

- Units & Legion: Currently featuring four major legions - humans, undead, steam, and wild - each with nine unique units. Additionally, there is a neutral ocean legion with four units. Units possess distinct attributes, combat skills, passive skills, and upgrade paths to enhance their power and utility.
- Campaigns: Explore five meticulously crafted campaigns, one for each legion, comprising over 50 levels. Each level introduces new units and offers main objectives alongside three secondary goals for extra rewards.
- Skirmish: Engage in customizable skirmishes against AI opponents on various balanced maps.
- Multiplayer: Challenge friends or other players in online skirmishes or cooperative custom campaigns.
- Map Editor: Unleash your creativity with an in-game editor to design custom maps and campaigns. Share your creations with the community or download maps from the server.
- Game AI: The game's AI is finely tuned for different difficulty levels, offering varying performance based on strategic complexity.
- Terrain: Utilize the game's eight distinct terrains - land, forest, hill, mountain, swamp, bridge, water, and reef - each affecting attack/defense attributes and movement costs.
- Building: Manage numerous buildings such as castles for recruitment and gold generation, alongside other structures offering unique functionalities within the game.
- Map Themes: Experience battles across diverse map themes including Ice World, Desert, Fire Land, and Candy Paradise.
